All of our cajons are products of high quality, handcrafted completely in Spain. In J. Leiva Percussion we have achieved a professional sound for each model, which makes it possible to do publicity for the product without insisiting on the quality of the materials.
Our models, 100 % optimized from the factory, are suitable as well for live performances as for the studio and are totally configurable concerning the tuning thanks to their Direct Tuning System (D.T.S.).
With the Alma Series you have at your reach maybe one of the best cajons of the market regarding to sound and quality (as demonstrated by our quantity of sales of this model): explosive high notes, shine and blunt but at the same time totally controllable at the like of the player. And due to its D.T.S.-System you will be able to tune it at the moment just with a gesture, with the hands and without keys, wrenches, screwdrivers or unnecessary gadgets. So the tuning is ultra fast, specially necessary during the live-performance.

CHASSIS:
Plywood board of seven juxtaposed layers (12 mm. thickness), joined together with water based glue. Made of 100% Russian birch.
FRONT PANEL:
Russian birch wood of 3mm, laminated, with direct serigraphy and cellulose protection.
TUNING SYSTEM:
D.T.S. or Direct Tuning System with four parallel guitar strings, localised vertically and tuneable from outside the cajon without the need of keys or other tools.
