Similar to the “Medina” model, but with an attractive “vintage”-look.
We have renewed and changed nearly everything in this series: materials, way of manufacture and of localising the strings … definitely a new concept of the instrument that now is treated with a different standard of manufacture in order to achieve the highest professional standards in sound and application.
Now the customer has a professional instrument which doesn’t give any chance to the doubt. It is an instrument which has been tested, checked and calibrated as well by the great cast of our artists and their numerous appearances in the media (check our facebook-site) as by the sound technicians of the best recording-studios around the country.
After having spent one year in its development we put at your reach a cajon with a very professional sound, nice and delicate, a very wide dynamic range and an amazing capability of response to the changes of volume of the hit. This cajon is ready every time it’s asked to be – with its sound quality and its capability to “captivate” the most demanding professional.
As all the cajons of the range it is very well worked inside in order to avoid problems such as the “fadding” or the resound of the bass notes so feared by sound technicians of all areas and origins, getting so an amazing balance between high and bass notes without rough changes inside these dynamic ranges.
In J.Leiva Percussion we keep calling it “the all terrain”.
How would you call it?
